The SOI and IPP (Integrated Practice Protocol) programs are geared at students and parents who want to strive for such things as:

  • Stronger academics
  • Improved learning
  • Improved body/space awareness
  • Finer focus and attention in the classroom,
  • Fine tuning of auditory and visual processing
  • Enrichment in academics and life skills

All students in Grade Kindergarten participate in the SOI program. After Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2, entry into the in-school SOI program is by referral from parents, teachers, and resource staff. This program is based upon early childhood development using physical First Steps training.

The program includes physical exercises on balance boards, rebounders, walking boards, and rotation boards.

Students who are referred by the educational team to SOI participate in a licensed protocol system that is a personalized program including assessment for both physical and cognitive strengths and challenges and then an individualized protocol program is created for the individual student.

The individualized programs include specific exercise training, cognitive workbooks and software exercises.
