We are in our fifth week of offsite learning and online meetings. We are hitting a stride after the start of this race and are having great
conversations with parents, students, staff and the Board.
Our schools are being recognized for our deeper and engaging programming as well as our community support. We are surrounded by
witnesses and we are committed to reflecting our commitment to compelling education and strong spiritual foundations.
I “attended” the junior secondary chapel Tuesday morning and was treated to a Thailand Team video presentation. Congratulations to our grade 11 students for finishing that race so strongly!
I am in an SCSBC Continuity of Learning meeting for Administrators as we speak. I am multitasking as I write this newsletter update. I am persevering with the rest of our staff (over 100!) as we work to deliver a solid finish to the educational experience to the end of June.
Christ endured the opposition and finished on the right hand of God. Let’s strive to be Christ like!
Hebrews 12: 1-3
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
