Each year there is a gathering of new faces, children and their parents, who become a part of the JKCS community. Some of the students are at the very beginning of their educational journey: kindergarteners who are learning letters and numbers and how to use scissors or glue. Others join at various entrance points along the K-12 experience becoming valued members of our school. For the past three years I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of our admissions team and meet families through the interview process. One comment that I hear frequently is how all of you – our current JKCS community – reach out to friends and family in your churches and study groups. I can’t say how much we appreciate your efforts and positive words about our school. Recommendations from you help us in our admissions process and provide us with pathways for conversation with people interested in JKCS. As we enter the admissions season (starting November 1) our team thanks you in advance for your efforts in reaching out to those around you.
