While many of our “senior” staff members have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the past few weeks, on Sunday afternoon an opportunity arose for the rest of the JKCS staff. Intrepid elementary admin assistant Betty Chien heard that Covid-19 vaccines were available for Burnaby/New West school staff at the Langley Events Centre, but staff had to sign up online immediately. In a flurry of emails, WhatsApp messages, and texts many staff members received this news and booked appointments. Staff were encouraged by admin at both campuses to take any appointment they could get, even during the school day. As these photos show, many staff enjoyed seeing each other at the Langley Events Centre on Sunday and Monday. We are happy to announce that the majority of JKCS staff are vaccinated against Covid-19.
