As we announced in August, it is with great sorrow that we remember the loss of Sonya Park, a dear colleague and teacher who passed away this summer. Staff held a memorial for her in the first week of September using some of the worship songs she valued the most. Sonya served at JKCS for over nine years and was deeply loved by her colleagues and friends. Her family held a private memorial for her over the summer and have left some instructions below for those who would like to visit the place where she was laid to rest. We will be remembering Ms. Park as a school in our first Elementary assembly.
