John Knox is pleased to offer a unique enrichment program for students called SOI, which stands for Structure of Intellect: “A theory of the functions and products of human intelligence.”

The SOI and IPP (Integrated Practice Protocol) programs are geared at students and parents who want to strive for such things as:

• Stronger academics
• Improved learning
• Improved body/space awareness
• Finer focus and attention in the classroom,
• Fine tuning of auditory and visual processing
• Enrichment in academics and life skills

All students in Grades 1 and 2 participate in the SOI program. After Grade 2, entry into the in-school SOI program is by referral from parents, teachers, and resource staff.

Program includes physical exercises on balance boards, rebounders, walking boards, and rotation boards.

The individualized programs include cognitive workbooks and software exercises.
