The JKCS Grade 8 students for their second Cards of Courage · Cards of Encouragement project enthusiastically made 100 Valentine’s Day cards, and our ESS students also weighed in with an additional 27 cards, to send over to the elderly residents at Thornebridge Gardens on 6th Street and 8th Avenue in New Westminster. The Visual Arts students added in another 40 Valentine’s cards for the essential workers there; a grand total of 167 cards of love and encouragement were presented as a way to please our neighbours.
