Last Friday, staff were privileged to glean pedagogical insight and knowledge for implementing meaningful place-based education within our local community. Led by special guest speaker Michael Datura from CIRCE (the Centre for Imagination in Research, Culture, and Education), staff took on the role of student and learned many practical ways of employing the natural world around us as a way to enrich curricular activities. Even though it was the coldest February 12th since 1953, it was an exciting time of development and growth, and a reminder of the inescapable glory of God in creation.
