Please drop students a block away from school whenever possible. If you must use the parkade, please pull as far forward and close to the wall to support the free flow of traffic entering and exiting.
Some parents are parking or stopping and waiting. This does not work! In a few cases this week the parkade door has closed on cars causing damage.
- Do not stop in the parkade traffic lane but continue through and go around the block if your son/daughter is not waiting.
- Do not try to race through the door behind another car … it might close on your car, causing damage.
- Do not cut the corner too tightly as one parent drove over a box damaging signage in the box.
- Absolutely do not stop straddling the parkade opening; the door will close on your vehicle.
