The Knox Walk gives students an opportunity to raise funds for our new high school gym!
Students receive a Knox Walk envelope, and hold fundraisers, or ask friend and family to support their 5kn walkathon to Queen’s Park and back. Our fundraising goal is $60,000, or $175 per student.
We are pleased through this event to continue to support Living Stones Village, an orphanage for disabled and abandoned children in Guangxi, China where “children with missing limbs, cerebral palsy, polio, hearing impairment, blindness, and crippling burn injuries are being raised and treasured…” (from their website: www.livingstonesvillage.org). As in past years, we feel led to tithe 10% of our fundraising toward this important ministry, so for every $10 raised, $1 will go towards Living Stones Village.
