As we approach the end to our season for Junior Coed Badminton, our team really put in great effort and did their best in both the tournaments on Saturday, May 4th at John Knox School and Tuesday, May 7th at Meadowridge School. In the tournaments, they got a chance to compete and accomplished their personal best.
On Tuesday, May 7th, was the GVSISAA Badminton Tournament Championship 2019. There were a total of 8 teams in each of the 3 Categories (Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles). We placed 7th for our overall team effort and won the Best Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations Team!
We are pleased to announce that Jason Gao was awarded the Most Valuable Player during the GVSISAA tournament. The Junior team consisted of: Nathan K., Nathaniel C., Deren J., Elaine S. G., Aidan C., Joseph K., Zion O., Kaeden Y., Louisane K., Caitlin F., Jason G., and Mary-Jane D.
We want to especially thank Parents, Coaches, Volunteers, and Staff for their dedication to help in making this season a successful year for the students.
