Good afternoon JKCS Parents and Students! We hope that you all have a great, safe and restful long weekend after weeks of very intense off-site Zoom learning and advising!
After many days of planning for the continuance of some form of our programs when we return to our Elementary and Secondary sites,
we have heard from the Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry as well as our Premier John Horgan and Education Minister Rob Fleming. We will be sifting through the details over the next week to come up with a detailed plan that ensures a robust platform of education that will be delivered with the very best safe practices in place as advised by Bonnie Henry.
This gradual return is on a voluntary basis, school by school in order to accommodate the unique physical and social aspects of each school community. We are certainly considering the facts of student numbers, site specific considerations, student ages and grades in our planning.
We ask for your patience as we design a synchronized program that not only restarts the past but jump starts the future.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
and a future.”
