Grandparents’ and Grandfriends’ Day (Elementary Campus)

Tim ChanTimes News

Grandparents’ and Grand-friends’ Day is coming up on April 26! There are a few things to know in preparation for this important day:

  1. TREATS. Each JKCS family is asked to bring treats to serve our guests: Baked goods (cookies, squares, tarts, loaves, or your family favourite), fruit (strawberries, melon, pineapple, grapes, etc), or something savoury (cheese, deli meats, or crackers). Please bring your treat to the school kitchen on Thursday, April 25 before noon.
  2. VOLUNTEER. With 250 guests, 400 student performers, and 60 Grade 6 student volunteers we need a lot of help! Please view the volunteer sign up below, and sign up! We look for- ward to working with you as we prepare to honour these very special guests.
  3. SEATING. Due to space constraints, seating is for grandparents only. If your child does not have a grandparent to invite, they are very welcome to invite a special senior friend from church. There is no seating available for parents or siblings.

We are looking forward to honouring these special guests!

Parents, if you would like a chance to view the Grandparent’s Day program, you are welcome to join us for the Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, April 25, at 9:00am.
