Before spring break Grade 6 students had a very special field trip – they visited the secondary campus!
Upon arrival they were greeted by a human tunnel of Grade 8 students, then made their way to the student commons for an explosive welcome by Mr. Wasik (see image below). Student council members gave campus tours and introduced them to teachers.
After tours, Mrs. Perttula walked them through Grade 7 course selection, and Mrs. Kingma gave tips and tricks on how to prepare for life at the secondary campus. After lunch, they played basketball in the courtyard and foosball in the student commons, and headed back to the elementary campus. See you in Grade 7 in September!
