4W went walking to Queen’s Park Feb. 3 to search for mushrooms and fungi. This fits into our study of Biomes – temperate rainforest. We found two mushrooms and numerous fungi. Students photographed these humble plants. Ms K. read three poems to the class who were sitting on stools in front of the mushroom/fungi – “Ode to the Mushroom,” “Ode to Fungi,” and “Psalm 100”.
