The end of November we had a SOILYMPICS where the students coloured hearts that had things to do to share kindness. We had shared a story about Jesus and how he came to show his great love and generosity. That during advent it is our blessings to share His love through our actions.
One of the students went home and baked cookies with their family, packaged them up and shared them with a neighbor with all Covid friendly manners in mind. The entire family became involved and were equally blessed by blessing others. It was an exciting story for me as I saw the student’s eyes light up sharing their act of love for Jesus.
