For the last two weeks we have posted the 1 Corinthians chapter 13, encouraging parents and the community to prayerfully read over these profound words.
This week, and continuing on the theme of our calling, we encourage you to read Philippians 4: 6-7. The passage below reminds us to rely on our sovereign God, the creator of all things. He calls us to love one another and to not be anxious but rather to bring our concerns and fears to him.
Please think and pray with these verses in mind over the coming weeks whenever you think about our John Knox community, our teachers and staff and our students.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
