Last Friday, the Grade One students at JKCS were blessed with a special guest, Dr. Ward! He is a Canadian author and our school’s superintendent. Dr. Ward shared about his journey of becoming a writer and showed us some of the books he has published. He encouraged everyone to keep on writing. The students were excited and loved Dr. Ward’s visit.
In class, we are starting our unit on story writing. Stories are everywhere! All stories start with an idea. After you have an idea, you can use your imagination and add to it.
