Hey John Knox students and families!
We would like to thank all of you so much from the bottom of our hearts for the extraordinary amount of donations brought in for our “5 Days of Giving” donation event! We were certainly not expecting the vast amount of items brought in especially from those at the elementary campus and to say the least, we were overflowing with joy seeing our communities’ hearts for lending a helping hand.
With your donations, Operation: New Genesis and a couple other helpers from our grade 11 class were able to pack 100 care packages- drawstring bags filled completely with necessities! Although the grade 11 outreach trip was unfortunately cut short due to health concerns, the bags will nonetheless be given to our partners at Union Gospel Mission to distribute to those in need.
Congratulations again to homeroom 8A for bringing in the most donations at the secondary campus and thank you everyone for participating! Be sure to look out for more Operation: New Genesis fundraisers coming very soon.
